Visual scene editor
Pan, zoom, drag and resize objects with handles. Snap to grid, see colliders and the camera frame at a glance.
Telu 2D Studio is a lightweight game editor in the spirit of the big engines. Drag sprites into a scene, add physics, write a few lines of JavaScript, then hit Build. You get an HTML5 game that runs in any browser.
No account. No subscription. Your games are yours.
No bloat, no 10 GB install. Just the tools that matter for 2D.
Pan, zoom, drag and resize objects with handles. Snap to grid, see colliders and the camera frame at a glance.
Static, dynamic and kinematic bodies, gravity, bounce and triggers. Platformers work out of the box.
Simple hooks like start, update and onCollision plus a cheat sheet right in the editor.
Press Play and test your game immediately. console.log and script errors show up in the console panel.
Build a folder with index.html, the runtime and your assets. Upload it to itch.io or any web host.
Import PNG, JPG, SVG, GIF, WebP and sprite sheets. Add MP3, OGG and WAV sound effects and music.
Levels, menus and game-over screens as separate scenes. Pixel-art mode and custom resolution per project.
Experiment freely. Your work is autosaved, and projects save to a single .t2d file.
Drop images into the scene, shape your level, and give objects a physics body.
Attach small JavaScript files to add movement, scoring, enemies, anything you can imagine.
Click Build HTML5, upload the folder, and send the link to your friends.
Scripts are plain JavaScript. Read input, set velocity, react to collisions. If you know a little JS, you already know how to make a game in Telu.
start, update, onCollision, onTrigger, onClick, onDestroy// Simple platformer controller
function start() {
self.speed = 280;
self.jumpPower = 640;
}
function update(dt) {
const dir = input.axis('horizontal');
self.vx = dir * self.speed;
if (input.pressed('space') && self.grounded)
self.vy = -self.jumpPower;
}
function onTrigger(other) {
if (other.tag === 'coin') other.destroy();
}

Yes. You can download it and make games without paying anything. Donations are optional and help development.
You can build scenes and physics without code. For game logic you write small JavaScript scripts, and the editor includes a cheat sheet plus a demo project to learn from.
Anywhere that hosts a website: itch.io, GitHub Pages, Netlify, your own hosting. The build is a normal folder with an index.html.
Exported games run in modern browsers on desktop and mobile. Add touch or click controls with the onClick hook for mobile players.
The games you make are yours. Have a specific question about licensing? Email us at hello@telu2dstudio.com.
